Our manufacturing facility is gearing up for growth, and we are looking for energetic and motivated Carpenter Helper, Production Manufacturing to join our team.


Under the guidance of our Foreman and Lead Journeyman Carpenter, you will be an important member of our manufacturing production team. You will play a crucial role in helping us to ramp up production and meet our growing demand. Your duties will include working with a variety of hand tools, operating equipment, and performing laboring tasks, all while adhering to strict organizational and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health and safety guidelines.


We are looking for individuals who like to work with their hands, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and are committed to delivering exceptional results.


This position reports to the Production Engineer and works collaboratively with multiple individuals within our multi-disciplinary team.

Location: On-site full-time in Delta, BC Manufacturing Facility


Work Hours: Day Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm


Wage: $20 - $24 per hour


We are accepting applications from within the lower mainland, BC, only.


Education & Qualifications, Required:


  • No minimum education requirement – training will be provided.


Nice to Haves, but can be certified on the job:


  • WHIMS
  • Class I forklift license
  • Level 1 or 2 Occupational First Aid certification
Skills & Experience, Required:


  • Willingness to practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions
  • Have previously used power tools, pneumatic tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
  • Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc
  • At least 1 year of experience in production or manufacturing labour, or constuction labour
  • Able to follow instructions, complete work tasks on schedule with clear timelines
  • Good understanding of quality control principles


Nice to Haves, but could be learned on the job:


  • Carpentry skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of machine operation safety
The Role & Responsibilities - Production Worker:


  • Communicate with other members of the manufacturing team to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
  • Comply with all health and safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve quality, and reduce waste
  • Monitor equipment performance. Report deficiencies to Operators
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Up to 50 lbs
  • Work safely around equipment on the production/manufacturing floor
  • General clean-up of the manufacturing facility; sweeping, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials
  • Complete other duties as we may request which are consistent with your abilities and responsibilities
  • Perform quality inspections on your work
  • Contribute to team efforts.
  • Operate hand tools as directed - pneumatic tools, hand tools
  • Preparing necessary materials and setting up the area and required equipment ready for production
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Unload and load materials from trucks/machinery
  • Receive and unload deliveries
  • Comply with our administrative policies and procedures as set forth from time to time.
  • Operate mobile equipment as qualified and directed (eg; scissor lifts, forklift)

Important to Mention!


  • Must provide your own CSA approved 6” safety footwear, required
  • Proof of ability to remain and work in Canada
  • Successful candidates may be required to submit to a background check
Physical Demands:


  • Lifting and carrying heavy objects, sometimes up to 50 pounds
  • Climbing stairs or ladders
  • Repetitive motions such as; bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching, including above and below the shoulder, pushing, pulling and twisting,
  • Standing or walking for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to Operate Machinery, assemble components and use hand and power tools
  • Standing for long periods of time, 8 hours or more
Work Environment:


  • Ability to work near moving equipment in a production environment
  • Working at heights
  • Exposed to machine noise, dust, chemicals and/or fumes
Safety Requirements:


  • Work safely and follow all health and safety policies and procedures
  • When on the production floor or construction site, wear appropriate protective equipment, such as a hard hat, hearing protection, safety work boots, and safety glasses
