Warehouse Production Worker Jobs

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Warehouse Production Worker to support our fast paced production team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.
• Assist in assembling, packaging and labeling bottled products.
• Pouring liquid and powdered fertilizer into bottles.
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Assist in the blending of liquid and powdered fertilizers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with clear communications (verbal and written)
• 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good mathematical skills
• Must have a valid BC drivers license
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
• Excellent organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines

OPTIONAL ASSETS:

• Experience with a forklift an asset

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs occasionally lift
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance

Full benefits included after 3 months

Full-time position

Starting hourly wage is $19 per hour with a review after the 3-month probation period.
