Job Title: Electrical Field Safety Representative (FSR)

Electomove Solutions Inc., a rapidly growing electrical contracting firm in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Electrical Field Safety Representative (FSR) to join our team. As an FSR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our electrical operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of the electric vehicle (EV) market and promote sustainable transportation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated FSR for Electomove Solutions Inc., overseeing all electrical work conducted by our company
- Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Provide guidance and support to our team of electricians regarding safe work practices and code requirements
- Review electrical designs and installations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Requirements:
- Valid FSR certification issued by Technical Safety BC or equivalent provincial regulatory authority
- Extensive knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Proven experience in conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance in electrical installations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required
