What would you be doing?

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the facilities and business premises are in optimum operational and maintenance condition, in order to minimize downtime.

• Planning and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with the MMS, in coordination with the Operations Manager and Process Leader.
• Identifying opportunities for operational improvements to have a more efficient/effective site.
• Monitor and document maintenance intervals, breakdowns and wear and tear, updating the Maintenance Management System (MMS) system in accordance with this information.
• Other duties as required.
• Supervising/coordinating projects and repairs on-site with third parties / external companies.
• Assure maintenance work is done properly and timely in a safe and efficient manner:
• Responsible for staying within the maintenance budget.

What are we looking for in your CV?

• At least three years of experience in maintenance management.
• Understanding of biological and mechanical processes concerning waste treatment.
• Hands-on approach, willing to walk the floor and lead by example.
• Leadership skills, coaching and mentoring team members, assigning tasks based on skillset.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, SCADA, ERP)
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.

Schedule:

• Weekend availability
• 8-hour shift

• Surrey, BC V4N 4C7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Supervising: 1 year (preferred)
• Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
• Waste management: 1 year (preferred)
