In addition to expanding and increasing the number of our corporate locations, we have become a viable branding and fuel supply alternative for independent fuel site owner/dealers who do not wish to continue with any of the major Canadian fuel brands.

Reporting to the Project and Maintenance Manager and working as part of the team, you will supporttwo functions by coordinating the upkeep and directly repairing minor facility and equipment issues across our gas station portfolio as well asassistingwith the construction and facilities upgrades.

You will be located in the Calgary Office and will be travelling to sites requiring attention in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. We anticipate that out of Province or overnight travel will take 50 % of your time. Work vehicle will be provided.

Duties:

Maintenance:

• Oversee the upkeep of the facilities, equipment and grounds
• Visit sites as part of maintenance inspections
• Communicate repair & maintenance status with the different stakeholders
• Complete minor facility and equipment repairs as well as replacement of basic petroleum related parts such as hoses, nozzles, repairing leaks and filters
• Maintain schedule and tracking system to effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Rotate on call duties for after-hours and weekend maintenance needs
• Help with expanding and managing the trades network
• Assess, assign, schedule and confirm completion of the repair and maintenance required
• Ensure proper OH&S regulations are being followed on all sites

Project Coordination:

• Assist Project Managers with projects across various provinces
• Site audits before, during and after construction and perform quality control inspections
• Manage smaller renovation/maintenance/rebrand projects including: Advance shield program, Vape shops, store refreshes, Air serv program, POS upgrades, Ethanol premium switch over, De-branding of sites, Propane installs and signage upgrades
• Assist during the project permitting process
• Ensure proper OH&S regulations are being followed on all sites
• Assist in gathering quotes from contractors, equipment suppliers and construction material vendors
• Assist in procuring equipment, goods, supplies, services and materials for construction and maintenance projects

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role, gas station/petroleum maintenance and project coordination experience is an asset
• Possess knowledge of health and safety practices
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-up is required
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people and interests while being culturally aware
• Trade Certificate considered as asset
• Valid class 5 driver license & clean driving record
• Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be a self-starter with high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism
