Maintenance Coordinator Jobs

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and in collaboration with Gas Station Maintenance Coordinator and Technician, you will support the function by coordinating the upkeep and directly repairing minor facility and equipment issues across our gas station portfolio. With as many as 4-10 service requests per day, Maintenance Technicians must be prepared to respond to any of a variety of maintenance needs, often with very little advance notice and a variable degree of urgency.

You will be located in the Calgary Office and will be travelling to sites requiring attention in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. We anticipate that out of Province or overnight travel will take 30% of your time. Work vehicle will be provided.

Duties:
o Oversee the upkeep of the facilities, equipment and grounds
o Assess, assign, schedule and confirm completion of the repair and maintenance required
o Maintain schedule and tracking system to effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner
o Complete minor facility and equipment repairs as well as replacement of basic petroleum related parts such as hoses, nozzles, repairing leaks and filters
o Help with expanding and managing the trades network
o Communicate repair & maintenance status with the different stakeholders
o Rotate on call duties for after-hours and weekend maintenance needs
o Visit sites as part of maintenance inspections
o Ensure proper OH&S regulations are being followed on all sites



Requirements:
o 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role, gas station/petroleum maintenance experience is an asset
o Valid class 5 driver license & clean driving record
o Trade Certificate considered as asset
o Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-up is required
o Must be a self-starter with high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism
o Ability to work with a diverse group of people and interests while being culturally aware
o Possess knowledge of health and safety practices
o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
