Item Master Specialist Jobs

Position Overview

Reporting to VP, Operations, this position maintains Item Master information in SAP, including technical accuracy and pricing information. This position will also be responsible for managing price lists and sales blanket agreements.

Your Responsibilities

• Work with the Inside Sales team to mass upload Item Master data and Bills of Materials into SAP using templates and available upload tools
• Participate in inventory related initiatives
• Work with various functions at CGIS on initiatives to streamline quoting process by having accurate and current pricing information in SAP
• Update pricelists in SAP based on vendors price increases
• Manage QA documentation for stocked products
• Review item master data entered for new items and verify that all information is accurate, complete, and complies with CGIS standards
• Support sales team to develop sales blanket agreements (SBA’s) in SAP. Monitor and ensure SBA’s remain current

About You

• Flexibility and the ability to pivot as necessary
• 2+ years experience in the supporting and/or selling function of technically complex products
• Ability to stay organized and manage time across multiple initiatives and responsibilities
• Experience in an industrial business an asset
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in MS Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable with understanding technical data to support maintenance of Item Master information.
• Attention to detail and comfortable with analysing, reviewing, and updating large amounts of information
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working in an ERP an asset
