Mine Maintenance Scheduler Jobs

The Opportunity:

As a Maintenance Scheduler for the Albian Mine Maintenance Department you will be responsible to develop the planning and scheduling activities for maintenance tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for continuous improvement for relevant software updates/user testing
• Effectively plan equipment outages by tool requirements, manpower requirements, and the estimated completion time for effective planning and execution of project work
• Incorporate shop facility maintenance into the weekly schedule
• Maximize the utilization of maintenance resources through the development of an effective maintenance plan for the mobile fleets
• Manage the work order tracking system (Maximo) to ensure quality and accuracy of documentation is maintained including job plans, parts and resources, recording completions of work orders, creating requisitions, capturing the parts required for each work order
• Coordinate inputs from execution, reliability, costing, and scheduling to effectively plan work scope

• Shift schedule: 4x3 – Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 10-hour shifts
• Eligible for relocation to Calgary, Edmonton or Fort McMurray

Skills & Qualifications:

• Typically, 5+ years of related industry experience
• Maximo, Scheduler experience would be an asset
• Working experience with surface mining equipment: Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders.
• Familiarity with commercial contracts and agreements
