Role Description / Key Responsibilities

Review and screen incoming maintenance work requests (notifications) with Asset Owners for validity, quality, and priority

Development of weekly 7d Maintenance Schedule, in conjunction with Asset Owners and Maintenance Leaders

Complete vendor prequalification, verification of approved status and assessment of qualifications and participate in the on-going vendor assessments and evaluations;

Ensure maintenance, inspection and repair activities are scheduled/executed in accordance to the regulatory requirement; and

Utilize effective communication skills as well as work collaboratively with all stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years progressive related experience in a plant operations/maintenance environment;

Post-secondary education in the oil & gas industry is an asset;

Project/Maintenance scheduling experience is an asset;

Develop specialize project improvements I.E. training materials to help drive efficiencies in Work management process

Impeccable written and oral commination skills.

Thermal Maintenance Scheduler Mandatory Skills

Facilitate daily and weekly scheduling meetings with Plant stakeholders review all work requests and creates work orders

Prepare and coordinate maintenance daily and weekly work schedule.

Maintain cloud-based support programs that support scheduling of work KPI’s

Requires a university degree in Engineering or Business Management or college diploma in Engineering Technology and additional training or education

Requires a good knowledge of English to communicate effectively with others and prepare technical reports.

Requires experience related to the design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of transmission/distribution assets

Scheduling experience in transmission line and station projects or other linear project types is an asset

Practical experience using the scheduling tool Oracle Primavera P6 or OPC & MS project is an asset

Experience with SAP is an asset

At least 5 years of experience in construction and maintenance management.

Knowledgeable in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, etc.

Develop and manage budgets, prepare schedules for project deadlines, and monitor expenses.

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Maximize the utilization of maintenance resources through the development of an effective maintenance plan for the mobile fleets

Coordinate inputs from execution, reliability, costing, and scheduling to effectively plan work scope

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accident and Health/Group insurance industry

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage workload effectively, especially during times of high activity and tight timelines

Determine acceptability of risk in accordance with company guidelines and standards

Determine appropriate pricing based on financial and competitive analysis

Attend meetings and present renewals/quotations to brokers and clients when required

Assist Project Managers with projects across various provinces

3+ years of experience in a maintenance role, gas station/petroleum maintenance and project coordination experience is an asset

Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Possess knowledge of health and safety practices

Oversee the upkeep of the facilities, equipment and grounds

Assess, assign, schedule and confirm completion of the repair and maintenance required

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Estimating, Accounting or relevant functional discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analysis, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures.

10 years related work experience

Data Center experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version) and MS Project.

Extensive experience using ProCore & PowerBI strongly preferred.
