Day To Day Responsibilities

Airswift has been tasked by one of our key clients to seek a Gas Scheduler to join them on a 12 month contract with the possibility to extend or transition into a permanent role in Calgary, AB.

Make required natural gas nominations to various Canadian pipelines using the appropriate computer systems. Maintain Flow Assurance Manage and track imbalances on pipelines. Communicate market intelligence gained from counterparties to trading teams Identify and support efficiencies and improvements with operational processes Daily/Monthly balancing in Open Link Endur.

Maintain excellent working relationships with pipelines, customers, and internal parties. Work with Settlements to ensure accuracy of information for invoicing in a timely fashion. Work in conjunction with Commodity Risk to resolve any exposure or PnL issues that arise due to operational discrepancies. Participation in rotational weekend nomination coverage. Work across multiple scheduling teams to drive new data initiatives, automation of work, establish standard methodologies among the members in the team.

Essential Experience and Job Requirements Demonstrated knowledge in gas scheduling and operations. Relevant Oil and Gas Industry experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
