Job Summary
We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our This Company Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD) to render environmental protection and performance aspects for refinery and gas plants. GMSD is responsible for providing the technical consultations, operational support and troubleshooting, benchmarking, building strategies, business planning, and conducting assessment in the areas of safety and environmental compliance, cyber security, advance process control and optimizations, energy and electrical efficiency, process engineering, reliability and maintenance, operational excellence etc. GMSD is also instrumental to the implementation of digital transformation program of This Company. Your primary role is to establish and maintain Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO-14001, ensure and improve compliance to applicable environmental regulations and standards, implement corporate environmental programs and procedures and enhance facilities environmental performance and business plan development. Environmental Engineer will also be responsible for the overall implementation and governance of Green House Gas management (GHG) program.
Responsibilities:
- Identify deviations and develop solutions to mitigate environmental risk and improve environmental compliance.
- Establish environmental KPIs targets in alignment with company environmental policies and strategies.
- Provide all cost engineering expertise and coordinate activities as a group/unit.
- Organize technical exchange workshops among the oil and gas refineries.
- Monitor air quality, wastewater, and water conservation performance.
- Ensure facility operating and business plans objectives are consistent and in-line with company environmental protection policies and standards.
- Conduct regular environmental performance monitoring and reporting analysis.
- Conduct environmental performance benchmarking studies among the oil and gas refineries.
- Develop, review, and deploy facilities' environmental management system in alignment with ISO 14001.
- Develop and maintain Environmental procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct environmental audit/assessment.
- Develop, review, and implement GHG management program including GHG data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and deliver training material to promote environmental awareness among refinery personnel.
- Conduct internal GHG assurance audit and provide support in preparation of facilities GHG 3rd party audits.
- Monitor solids and chemical disposals to guarantee safe environmental protection in compliance with governmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Robust analytical and organizational skills.
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering from a recognized university/college and an approved program. A master's or advanced degree and/or EPI/QEP certified professional status is preferred.

- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector is required, particularly in Refining, Chemical, and/or NGL Fractionation Processes. Additionally, at least 7 years of experience in a direct environmental management role for a refinery or gas plants is necessary.
