Electronics Technician - Oil and Gas Services

RevSolz Corp is looking for a contract Electronics Technician to join our field operation team in Grande Prairie area. This person will do a field visit to our clients frac sites, set up our stream boxes in frac van, wireline and pump down trucks, and troubleshoot any connection issues if required.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures stream of frac & wireline data to Revsolz cloud database before the job starts.
• Communicates and coordinates times with Revsolz well monitoring technicians.
• If required, sources or builds and maintains all necessary cables and adaptors.
• Works with Revsolz’s office staff to troubleshoot any stream issues including Revsolz IIOT hardware configuration, van (frac, wireline and pump down trucks) software settings, etc.
• Ensures proper installation of Revsolz IIOT hardware in frac vans, wireline and pump down trucks.
• Communicates with field supervisor before and during installation.
• Communicates with field consultants to ensure the proper installation time and date.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of frac, wireline and pump down software
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Ability to consistently and accurately identify and troubleshoot problems with streaming
• 5 years of experience in frac industry is preferred
• Ability to work independently while in a team environment
• Critical thinking and problem-solving attributes
• Must have electronics or instrumentation background.

This is a part-time contract position with a possibility of turning into full-time position. The position requires working in remote locations, on-call shifts, and weekends and overtime work as required.
