Job Summary

Upstream Support Division/ Upstream Operational Analytics Group (UOAG) requires an ENGINEER to deliver the following primary activity sets (representative and not inclusive):

Responsibilities:

• Working with organizations at all levels to coordinate activities related to Digital Transformation and other required interfaces with the IT organization.

• Industrial Benchmarking & Trends Analysis:

  • Conducting Industrial Benchmarking & Trends Analysis studies, business cases, and project proposal reports.
  • Monitoring International Market Trends (news highlights & technologies).
• Managing and tracking the Upstream BL Operational Metrics and AAs Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Conducting Industrial Benchmarking & Trends Analysis studies, business cases, and project proposal reports.
• Coordinating and consolidating the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process within Upstream BL.

• Risk Management:

  • Coordinating and consolidating the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process within Upstream BL.
  • Serving as the risk coordinator for the BL, consolidating and reporting business risks for the Upstream BL.
• Reviewing and measuring Upstream BL Operational Metrics, Scorecards & KPIs to ensure accuracy of Upstream BL data.
• Analyzing periodic performance and preparing management reports using plan, actual, and forecast data to enable effective performance management.
• Completing ad hoc report requests from management and following up on action items.

• Upstream BL Operational Metrics:

  • Managing and tracking the Upstream BL Operational Metrics and AAs Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Reviewing and measuring Upstream BL Operational Metrics, Scorecards & KPIs to ensure accuracy of Upstream BL data.

• Technology and Digital Coordination:

  • Working with organizations at all levels to coordinate activities related to Digital Transformation and other required interfaces with the IT organization.
• Serving as the risk coordinator for the BL, consolidating and reporting business risks for the Upstream BL.

• Special Projects and Ad Hoc Reports:

  • Analyzing periodic performance and preparing management reports using plan, actual, and forecast data to enable effective performance management.
  • Completing ad hoc report requests from management and following up on action items.
• Monitoring International Market Trends (news highlights & technologies).

Requirements:

• Skills in developing and rolling out performance initiatives, including benchmarking, risk management, processes, and workflows.
• Ability to develop and implement strategies to elevate the quality of work.
• Demonstrating abilities in problem analysis and resolution.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry and/or Upstream.
• MSc or PhD in Petroleum Engineering or Computer Science.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form, in English.
• Providing analytical findings and recommendations related to upstream operations.
• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
• Skills in training young professionals and creating training programs.
• Engineering analysis skills, such as analyzing information and promoting process improvement.
