Oil Burner Technician Jobs

Perform routine maintenance on oil burners, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed

Troubleshoot and repair oil burners to ensure proper functioning

Conduct inspections of oil burners to identify any potential issues or hazards

Install new oil burners and related components, such as tanks and pipes

Provide customers with information and guidance on proper use and maintenance of oil burners

Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used

Consideration will be given to individuals with other combinations of education and technical experience

Fundamental knowledge of liquids pipeline hydraulics and/or operational experience with oil, refined products or hot bitumen

Depending on qualifications, the successful candidate may be offered a position at a more appropriate level and/or ladder.

Handle and implement customer requests/changes consistent with facility capabilities, connecting pipeline limitations and quality principles

Understand Oil Pipelines' capabilities and coordinate responses with connecting parties upstream and downstream

Two (2) years’ experience in operations or related experience

Strong knowledge of frac, wireline and pump down software

5 years of experience in frac industry is preferred

Ensures proper installation of Revsolz IIOT hardware in frac vans, wireline and pump down trucks.

If required, sources or builds and maintains all necessary cables and adaptors.

Ensures stream of frac & wireline data to Revsolz cloud database before the job starts.

Communicates with field consultants to ensure the proper installation time and date.

Maintain detailed production records and prepare production reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Oversee and manage all administrative tasks related to oil and gas production including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on production administration.

Excellent understanding of oil and gas industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated experience in production planning and logistics.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ensure all reporting and processes are in compliance with applicable government requirements

Liaise with the Commercial Services department to ensure all reporting requirements are accurate on a monthly basis

Two or more years of related industry experience

Demonstrable strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and communicate business analytics

Proven experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Experience working with Petrinex for government reporting

15 years of R&D experience related to midstream crude oil treatment technologies.

Hands-on experience in field operations and engineering projects.

Leadership experience with diverse technical experts from different backgrounds and nationalities.

Develop plans for bench-scale, pilot, and demonstration studies for new crude oil treatment technologies, and provide expert guidance during their execution.

Conduct optimization studies of crude oil treatment systems.

Perform simulation studies to develop new crude oil treatment technology options suitable for different crude oil reservoirs.

Two or more years of related industry experience

Demonstrable strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and communicate business analytics

Proven experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Experience working with Petrinex for government reporting

Advanced level for MS Office; strong excel skills will be an asset

Ensure all reporting and processes are in compliance with applicable government requirements

Minimum of 18+ years of related experience, including at least 5 years of intensive experience in oil production specialty.

Experience working in oil fields with a concentration of 15% or higher of H2S (hydrogen sulfide).

Experience in both onshore and offshore environments and familiarity with smart well completions.

Monitor daily drilling and work-over activities to ensure appropriate completion practices are followed by the rig.

Monitor production performance, identify anomalies, and recommend engineering solutions.

Conduct production optimization activities to ensure reliable and optimal well performance.

Skills in developing and rolling out performance initiatives, including benchmarking, risk management, processes, and workflows.

Coordinating and consolidating the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process within Upstream BL.

Analyzing periodic performance and preparing management reports using plan, actual, and forecast data to enable effective performance management.

Completing ad hoc report requests from management and following up on action items.

Engineering analysis skills, such as analyzing information and promoting process improvement.

Demonstrating abilities in problem analysis and resolution.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint; Right Angle and ZEMA experience preferred

Operational management of 6 operational tanks at various locations in Alberta (1.8 million barrels)

Proven experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in Marketing logistics or Marketing related areas (Marketing Accounting, Corporate Planning, Credit/Contracts);

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners

University degree in Commerce or Business Administration is preferred;

Strong technical skills to complement Power Engineering qualifications

Relevant experience in cyclic steam or SAGD thermal recovery heavy oil operations would be an asset

Engage with research, operations, and engineering entities to expand existing lubricant oil testing capabilities and business portfolio.

Five years of experience in lubricant testing and development.

Experience with lubricants suppliers' operations and processes involved in the formulation, blending, and production is favorable.

Use advanced characterization techniques to analyze various lubricant samples and develop integrated approaches to identify and predict factors affecting product performance.

Support ongoing lubricant research projects by providing technical expertise and analytical support.

Work closely with Management to provide relevant information to allow for decision making,asset purchases and identification of profitability improvement opportunities.

Work closely with Project Management and Sales teams to complete field ticket processing through to invoicing and resolve issues as necessary.

Proven relationship building capabilities and a collaborative working style–strong team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Prepare profitability reporting and review it with Project and Operations Managers.

Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as required.

Minimum of 5 years experience in a project accounting role, preferably in the oil and gas sector.

5+ years of industrial/mining sales experience

Prior knowledge of slurry pumps, cyclones, valves, and rubber products is preferred.

Bachelors Degree (Engineering or Business)
