Role Summary
As a Lead, B2B Marketing, you will manage the B2B marketing division. Within this role you will have two reports 1) Paid Marketing Manager and 2) CRM Manager and your goal will be to lead the development of both the paid and email strategies for the organization in order to drive successful revenue-generating activations from beginning to end. Reporting to the SVP Marketing, you will build the B2B marketing strategy for the organization, prioritize lead generation campaigns, build valuable insights, and report on results: What is working and why? How can we best scale the campaign? What are the next opportunities? The individual will multitask on many projects at once, must have great project management skills, and can create processes and efficiencies. The right candidate has up-to-date knowledge of the latest paid advertising and digital marketing trends and continues to learn as the industry evolves. Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver timely and accurate campaign reporting through the use of various platforms such as Google sheets, Sales cloud (Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud), Google Analytics (GA4)
- Communicate effectively and lead the presentation of campaign results and actions taken to achieve the intended outcomes
- Providing leadership and direction to staff members throughout the organization
- Devising strategies to utilize paid media and email marketing to deliver high-quality leads to drive ROI
- Making sure all campaigns are of high standard, creative, and delivered within agreed timelines, and ensuring maximum conversions and ROI
- Identifying new opportunities for growth within the company’s existing customer base by researching potential buyers’ needs and buying habits
- Review new technologies, developments, and news to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
- Responsible for ensuring effective budgetary allocation for the B2B marketing department
- Implement tracking across all platforms and campaigns to ensure attribution is set up for accurate reporting
- Collaborate with colleagues from across the organization, including the marketing, sales, and product teams.
- Evaluate customer research, industry trends, market conditions, and competitor data
- Manage the implementation and optimization of DHGE’s paid channels including (but not limited to): Google ads, Facebook / Instagram ads, Linkedin ads, and/or Microsoft ads (Bing) as well as testing new platforms that could drive ROAS and campaign ROI
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills
- Be self-motivated and show an ability to work autonomously as and when required
- Understanding of B2B marketing tracking, attribution, and how to measure performance against targets
- Strong technical and data analysis skills with the ability to convert insights into actionable items
- Feel comfortable in an environment that moves fast and changes often, where you will be measured against your ability to meet core objectives
- Be willing to seek feedback early and often. Welcome critique, candor, and respectful discourse.
- Understanding B2B marketing best practices across various platforms
Experience
- Managing budgets effectively to deliver on business results
- Effective at managing workload, prioritizing projects, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven organization
- Experience in working with Salescloud CRM/Marketing Cloud
- Demonstrating ROI and working towards weekly and monthly targets
- Proven working experience running successful B2B campaigns for awareness, lead generation, and conversion
- Proven experience in planning, executing, and optimizing B2B ad campaigns across different platforms: Google, Linkedin, Facebook
- Minimum of 8-10 years experience in B2B Marketing positions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing (or equivalent)
