Job Description
As a pivotal member of the ReVisionz Data & Information Lifecycle Services practice, we at ReVisionz collaborate closely with our clients, empowering them to effectively manage and utilize essential information for operating asset-centric facilities with exceptional safety and efficiency. Our Lead plays a crucial role in discovering, assessing, enriching, and migrating asset data and content.


This role involves extensive engagement with clients, leveraging advanced technology to extract and evaluate vast quantities of intricate engineering and asset information from diverse facility systems. The process reveals the need for data enrichment and subsequent migration to innovative Asset Information Management solutions. Notably, this work spans multiple facilities, making it a dynamic and simultaneous undertaking.


Delivery:


In this formidable Lead role, you'll be a key player in our clients' AIM program! You'll work closely with the Project Manager and collaborate seamlessly with the AIM Technology and Standards components. Together, we'll make things happen and bring the vision to life!:


Leadership of the team:


  • A strong orientation in being a leader is a given for this role, guiding the team members to enable high degrees of quality and success in each team member’s respective role
  • Extensive PMI-based skills are the norm re scope/budget/plan and issues/risks
  • The Lead has depth of background with team members working offsite and offshore
  • Clear understanding of asset information in design, construction and operation of facilities enables the Lead on effectively estimating and delivering to project scope
  • Use of waterfall and agile methods for delivery
  • Depth of leadership background provides for a strong basis upon which challenges and issues are dealt with successfully so as to respond to escalations, stay on track and deliver to success


Technical delivery of the results:


  • The extensive background on major assessment/migration engagements to address high quality discovery, assessment, enrichment and migration of asset information
  • Background in rigorously applying structured methods and technology solutions to address the work tasks, and as well facilitate the progressive evolution of such methods and technologies
  • The focus on addressing lessons learned and ICAP throughout and at the end of initiatives
  • Achievement of exceptional quality for comprehensive discovery and assessment, the achievement of significant enrichment and the migration of all records and metadata.
  • Depth of background is possessed in how all actions on client data and content is measured, and in turn formally tested through the team’s quality assurance resource
  • Possessing an innate orientation to success at the very detailed level with success measured at the extreme of perfection - overseeing full successful migration of data and content from sources to the target solution in keeping with the specifics of the solution design requirements
  • Depth of background in teaming with AIM technology and standards leads to establish enrichment requirements and work with clients to achieve such enrichment


Relationship management:


  • Facilitating client participation even in cases of their reticence to participate
  • Relationship building with the client team and management
  • Intimately learning about the client’s business (business objectives, challenges, politics etc.)
  • Cultivating a partnership mentality
  • Co-ordinating with the client stakeholders, vendors, and stream leads to ensure the teams are working on the right components at the right time, with clear expectations of milestones/goals


Business development:


  • Identifying new scopes or opportunities with existing clients
  • Supporting recruiting/sourcing of resources and attracting new consultants
  • Contributing to the development of SOW’s, proposals, RFPs etc.


Requirements


To excel in the role of Lead, candidates must possess extensive knowledge and skills. Effective communication abilities and adept relationship management are of utmost importance for success in this position. A robust and verifiable track record, bolstered by client references, is essential in leading intricate AIM data/content projects. Candidates will typically hold a B Eng or B Comp Sci degree with additional courses in information management. A combination of education and experience will be considered.


Delivery:


  • Experience in target AIM technologies such as Hexagon or equivalent sophisticated engineering document / data management solutions is beneficial to possess
  • Significant depth in the use and development of sophisticated SQL, coded and other specialized software to extract, interrogate and enrich data for its high-quality migration
  • 10+ years developing and delivering complex multi-component asset information discovery, assessment, enrichment and migration engagements


Domain:


  • The candidate is recognized as an expert in asset information with respect to complex asset-centric processing facilities and the means to assess and migrate such information
  • Experience with owner/operator business functions and their information management
  • Domain / industry experience with the full breadth of asset information in such verticals as Oil and Gas, Petro Chemical, Mining or comparable that have facilities with complex high maintenance assets


Leadership:


  • Experience building effective teams and motivating resources to deliver on target goals
  • A successful history in leading asset information assessment and migration teams


Client Engagement:


  • Experience in dealing with complex challenges re timeline, schedule, buy-in, etc.
  • Depth with interacting with client and partner teams to achieve success
  • Experience dealing with client leads to set, manage and achieve expectations


Candidates may be based in Calgary, AB or Houston, TX. Applicants must have Permanent Resident status or hold an open work permit in Canada. USA applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work if not a US citizen or a Green Card holder.
