• LOCATION: Remote - Work from anywhere (TimeZone: EST | Full day overlap)
• JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)

• HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $20 – $25/hr

THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements

• Experience with relational databases
• A good grasp of at least one programming language such as Python, Ruby, C++ or C#;
• Experience with Flask.
• Problem solving ability with analytical and abstract reasoning skills
• High degree of computer literacy, familiarity with Mac OSX and iOS and detailed knowledge of project management software such as Monday.com, Jira...
• A keen eye for detail not just as a maker but also from the end user's perspective
• Experience and understanding of back-end and front-end programming languages

What You’ll Be Working On
Overall Purpose of the Job

• This role will sit within the Data migration team, reporting to our client's Head of Data Migration
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously. whilst working in close collaboration with Project Managers
• Working closely with the Client Liaison team to support and deliver the best migration solution.
• Developing and improving scripts, creating new script libraries to improve the migration procedure.
• Migrating client data from multiple different systems into database

Key areas of responsibility
Day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Help to oversee the migration process from the tech perspective, manage the feedback from the clients and interpreting the needs of their migration.
• Migrate databases from systems that clients are using and want to move to the our client's Company
• Help maintain the schedule, making sure commitments and deadlines are met by both the Company and the client.

Performance Indicators

• Working with the Client Liaison to keep clients deadlines and briefs.
• Actively helping to improve the libraries, increasing efficiency and workflow to improve migration processes.
• Helping roll out library updates with greater regularity
• Reducing the average time required to migrate database.
• Helping the team to complete projects on timet.
