Job Description
A key aspect of the ReVisionz capabilities is to assist asset-intensive organizations with addressing the quality of their asset information, with a key focus on their operational records that are applied as part of standard operations and maintenance activities in plant settings.
The Operations Content Enrichment / Migration Consultant gathers business and functional requirements to address the definition of rules that identify existing information to act on, to guide extraction of that information from sources, and most specifically to guide the transformation and migration of that data. Responsibilities include:
  • Critically evaluate information gathered, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the actual underlying needs.
  • Create client and leader presentations, facilitate workshops, providing asset information domain expertise and act as a liaison with business unit stakeholders.
  • Based on extensive operations background provide perspective to governing documents (blank list, check sheet, manuals, strategies, procedures, etc.), controlled integrity records (inspections, quality assurance, technical deviations, non-conformance, etc.), and other records supporting FLOC, Equipment, Task List, Work Order and Notification functions performed in plant settings.
  • Engage with clients in understanding their diverse approaches to creating, managing and using documentation and key related data to their O&M functions.
  • Apply business analyst requirements skills to lead workshops to gather business input by which to provide a base for client participants to clearly understand the approach to interpreting their asset information and in turn work with them to define extraction, transformation and migration rules that will be applied to such information.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in more complex client information settings applying formal data assessment methodologies to create and document assessment and action plans/rules development.
  • Intermediate level experience presenting complex information in Excel and/or dashboard technology.
  • Engineering information standards (e.g., tag and document classification, tag and document metadata, tag and document states).
  • Strong experience in applying SQL to datasets to parse and assess the information held on those datasets.
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Direct domain experience in Engineering Document Management or Engineering Information Systems for Owner / Operators or EPC’s, including:
  • Existing engineering information management system(s), databases and legacy data (e.g., based on background with such software as Hexagon, Bentley, Aveva, OpenText, McLaren, etc.).
  • Engineering information management processes.
  • Understanding of the engineering information lifecycle and how this supports Engineering, Construction, C&SU, Operations, Maintenance & Reliability, etc.
  • Experience interacting and communicating with stakeholders including workshop facilitation.
