The ideal candidate will be able to focus on providing excellent IT support to their clients by using effectual problem-solving skills and resolve all assigned support requests, while still maintaining a positive and professional attitude when interacting with clients.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Desire to learn new IT skills and genuine interest in technology
• Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Presents themselves in a highly professional, competent manner
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and work calmly under pressure
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Patience in solving technical problems with end users of varying technical aptitudes
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivating
• Toronto Police background check is required

Required Technical Skills:

• Ability to lift and carry computer equipment
• Windows/Mac OS and hardware support
• Microsoft Server management, including Active Directory
• Daily maintenance of server backup jobs
• Microsoft Windows 10/11
• Microsoft Office 365 Management
• Valid G Ontario driver’s license and full access to a reliable vehicle
• Setup and troubleshooting of Firewalls, Switches and VLANs

Strong Assets:

• ConnectWise, or other PSA (Professional Services Automation) system
• Veeam Backup
• Microsoft, Citrix and SonicWALL certifications would be considered a strong asset
• Automate/Labtech or other RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) system
• Experience at another MSP
• Citrix XenApp
• Hosted VoIP Phone Systems
• SonicWALL Firewalls
• Proficient in French
• HPE ProLiant Server hardware

Education and Experience:

• Degree, diploma or certificate related to information technology
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Ontario Full G driver’s license or equivalent
• IT support: 2 years
