Job Description

Software International (SI) is a boutique recruitment firm that works with a variety of Fortune 100/500 clients as well as many other mid-sized and smaller organizations across the IT/Telecom/Engineering and Aerospace industries. We are expanding steadily and currently looking to add a seasoned IT Recruiter to our team in order to help recruit for and manage one of our newer Fortune 500 IT consulting client accounts. While this role will focus primarily on recruitment for one client, any recruiter in our organization is free to work on any role we have open, with any client.


SI is not a typical recruitment firm. We have built up a core team of experienced recruiters and account managers who have all worked in the industry for 10-20+ years. We work together very closely, collaborating as a team to service our client's hiring needs and truly be recruitment consultants to their business. We strive to get qualified resumes to our clients within 24-48 hours ,although we do understand that certain highly specific searches can take weeks or even months. Overall, this approach allows our clients to be successful in their business, in turn bringing both financial and professional success to our SI team.


What really sets us apart from a typical agency is that our members work on a straight commission model. This means that we are good at what we do, else we would not be successful. In essence, whatever business we close, we ALL share in the full profits at a maximum level. This model is not for everyone. But if you have been in the recruitment field for some time, know how to recruit well, our model, with uncapped earning potential could be the most financially rewarding recruitment job you will have had. We are not definitely not big on micromanaging and metrics, since a straight commission model ensures you earn the most that you can, but of course, you have to work for it and submit qualified candidates and make placements. Its not magic, just good work ethic, good tools, good team members.


We have the process, the clients, the tools, just looking at add an additional valued team member to our group to deal with steady growth.


Role: IT Recruiter - Dedicated Account - Fortune 500 Worldwide Consulting Firm

Type: Indefinite long term contract status (C2C once you are billing north of 30k)

Location: Greater Toronto Area (remote )

Salary: 40% of profit for placement of any candidate to any role + 10% for account management of this specific account


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Conducting qualification interviews with proposed candidates
  • Creating client submittal packages within MS Word
  • Submitting candidates via vendor portal (Fieldglass) to open roles
  • Accessing Fieldglass and other ATS/HRMS systems to review assigned roles
  • Posting open roles on our internal job board/ATS/other job boards
  • Sharing a weekly update to management relating to the activities on the account, open roles, submissions, any wins, major updates etc..
  • Recruiting for open IT/Telecom/Engineering/Aerospace roles


Job Requirements:

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Prior client management experience is a nice to have
  • 3+ years of experience in IT/Technical recruitment
  • A minimum 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
  • Fully understanding how to find talent via LinkedIn/X-ray searches/job boards/ATS/networking groups/forums
  • Experience working with vendor management systems (Fieldglass ideally but other VMS skills are transferrable
