Job Description

Our client in the chemical manufacturing industry is seeking a Bilingual HRIS Analyst to join their team in Oakville, ON.


Reporting to the HR Manager, the Bilingual HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the administration, development, testing, auditing and providing training for our HRIS system.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain calendar of deliverables and create documented processes for transparency
  • Responsible for the delivery of Dashboard Module to provide the organization BI, KPI’s and metrics
  • Develop tools and training material to support employees and people leaders in using the system for various HR annual processes. (Performance management, Compensation, Policy management)
  • Produce accurate reports to Finance for preparation of incentive payments & coordinate communication to managers
  • Responsible for configuration, testing, implementing and delivering new features and modules
  • Responsible in reconcilement and creation of customized reports via reporting functions to support people leaders and the business (Finance, Accounting, HR)
  • You will collaborate with the HR Team to implement new initiatives to support best practices and assist in the launch of our new Employee Experience platform
  • Assist with HR transactions in Dayforce in the absence of HRBP/Snr Generalist in USA; new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, salary changes and other employee changes as required
  • Assist in configuration of compensation structure in Dayforce; pay levels, job families
  • Lead the continuous evolution of our HRIS system; analyses business requirements and determines management needs to design or modify existing HR technology solutions to meet changing demands
  • Maintain data incentive % targets in Dayforce to support Annual Incentive Program
  • Perform analysis/testing/support and develop new features in Dayforce modules with a focus on Compensation, Performance and Annual Review Processes.
  • Provide annual compensation information to complete external compensation survey
  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy and data integrity of employee data in system; detecting and reconciling any discrepancies
  • Provide supporting data required for various internal and external audits, Workers Compensation boards, Revenue Canada and others
  • Maintain compliance in Time & Attendance; overtime, shift rotations and create rules or new earning codes/pay adjustment when needed with assistance of payroll
  • Review and implement automation of reports for more efficient and timely process


Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and innovation skills
  • Proven experience HR systems, applications analysis and strong reporting skills (Dayforce, Workforce Now, Workday)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ HR experience as an HR Generalist, HR analyst or HRIS role
  • Good knowledge of HR programs, policies, labour laws and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills on Excel
  • Extremely organized with prioritizing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Administration / Business with an HR Management option
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English
