Job Summary
Maintaining strong business relationships with Maersk’s existing clients within the FMCG Vertical in the Quebec region, while developing transportation and logistics solutions that add value to the client’s business, managing client expectations, and delivering positive results to Maersk.
Key Responsibilities
- It is the aim of management to utilize the GCM to gain synergy between all operating systems, finance and business development groups within Maersk. In addition to gathering resources and coordinating developments within our own company, the GCM must communicate on many levels within the client’s organization, often from front line customer service people up to CEO level.
- Migration of new integrated clients
- Supply Chain Management & Value Added (VAS) services
- Resolve large and/or complex issues/problems
- Transload / Warehousing
- TradeLens
- Drive improvement within the client’s organization
- Maintain technical and professional proficiency
- Establish / maintain Critical Success Factors
- Performing other Job-related duties as required.

Required experience & skills
- Excellent negotiation, listening, probing and closing skills.
- Business Understanding - Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of customer and Maersk’s industry and market dynamics, value drivers, products, services, systems and business processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), and an ability to quickly adapt and work with new software.
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Travel, as required
- 3-5 years of external sales experience in transportation or logistics industry experience
- Communication - Ability to convey, receive and share information to ensure mutual understanding internally and externally across all levels.
