1st point of contact for Eastern Ontario Region facility related work request at 6 facilities.
• Weekly Floor Inspections.
• Supervisor, co-ordinate repairs to building’s equipment, systems, envelope and grounds. (I.e. Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Construction, Landscaping, Roofing, Painting and Gates) including Preventative maintenance work to ensure continued, regular service is being performed.
• Perform, supervise and/ or co-ordinate minor project work and contractor management
• Assist with Contractor Safety Orientation, Company permits systems (hot works, confined space entry, LOGO etc.)
• 1st Aid representative, Fire evacuation warden
• Sourcing and Co-ordination of office furniture requirements. (Set up, storage, assembly, ordering, receiving, shipping and disposal)
• Interim pest control. (client calls for mice, squirrels, ants, flies etc. between monthly Orkin visits)
• Provide assistance for Environmental mitigation/disposal regarding hazardous materials within buildings and compounds
• Assist with timely garbage, recycle and compost pick up and on-call haul away
• Initial investigation of leaks, unusual smells, noises, and general occupant complaints that are not obvious/ apparent
• Assist in ensuring compliance of regulatory requirements relating to Fire and Building, municipal codes
• Board room set up for larger meetings including minor Audio/ Video assistance
• Assist with interior design, decorate, picture, plaque, poster placement, company bulletin boards
• Printer paper delivery to all business units in the buildings. Delivery of old ribbons/toner to Canada Post depot for disposal
• Meeting with contractors at all 6 Eastern sites for access, guidance, supervision etc.
• Assistance with workplace health and safety inspections/ compliance.
• Support needs for building tenants (Christie Lake Kids, Canada Post, Cafeteria staff/ vendor)
• On demand service of sanding/ salting and shoveling walk way paths for client safety between snow plowing contractor visits
• Daily response to slip/ trip hazards, lighting issues, door/ lock malfunctions
• Provide access and Maintaining records for building visitors including Enbridge employees and contractors.
• Daily watch on, litter, minor repairs, washroom supplies
• Initial point of contact for CCTV issues and security breaches including break-ins and unauthorized persons on site
• Overseeing general landscaping, sprinkler system, perennial planting, foliage maintenance etc.
• Ensuring that confidential company documentation is properly disposed/ shredded or shipped off site properly.
• Monitor ongoing cleaning is being maintained with periodic window, carpet cleaning, flooring strip and wax.
• Department coverage to support WPS Analyst when off or at other sites
• Filing, storing, accessing facility related files including archived items
• Buildings key management
• Parking lot management (ie. overnight/ evening vehicle parking, suspicious activity etc.)
• Daily/ weekly attention to Archibus, Service Now and Access/Chub security related items
• Monthly gas meter reading submission for billing.
