Job Description
  • JOB POSTING**Position:
  • Executive Director*Location:
  • Perform cleaning duties to support the housekeeping functions of the home.*Qualifications:** WHMIS certification (preferred)* Ability to work independently* Strong Team orientation* Experience in Retirement Living an asset*Key Responsibilities Include:** Perform light cleaning duties to maintain resident’s suite, including dusting furniture, mopping floors, cleaning wash basins, mirrors, showers, tubs, vacuuming floors, disposing of trash and removal of personal garbage* Clean public and high traffic areas; mopping and vacuuming floors, dusting, washing windows emptying trash containers and other duties as assigned* Clean designated areas in accordance with procedures* Understand the operation of all housekeeping and laundry equipment* Provide efficient and courteous service to residents at all times* Follow WHMIS legislation about proper handling of all chemicals used in the department* Work cooperatively with other departments in carrying out housekeeping and laundry duties* Follow routines as designated by the Executive DirectorJob Type: Part-timeSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededWork Location: In person
