Your responsibilities
  • Implements optimization plans to improve operational excellence and customer satisfaction, alongside the inquiry- to- Delivery and after- sales support processes.
  • Ensures visibility o excessive stock within the Hub’s sales operations units and other Hubs.
  • Ensures the finished goods inventory local governance processes are properly integrated with the supplying units.
  • Sets up monthly operational review with Sales Operations team and customers support local units.
  • Ensures adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope.
  • Designs (in case of global role) or executes, the sales support, sales operations, and customer operation strategies for the designated region in line with the global commercial operations strategy.
  • Ensures the implementation of the integrated Business Planning process and tools in the local sales operations units (regional distribution center and/or local sales distribution warehouse) to align the demand and availability of finished goods.
  • Implements processes optimization to reduce delivery lead time and increase inventory turns (ITO).
  • Ensures the achievement of established targets, through oversight and defining improvement actions, as needed.
  • Implements common processes and best practices for Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) and purchasing in local sales operations units.
  • Continuously monitors the third party logistic contractors’ performances versus the contractual requirements and cost- efficiency targets.
  • Builds an effective, capable, and high-performing organization.
  • Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed.
  • Ensures special documentation required by customers and customs are properly and efficiently managed.
  • Coaches and trains the local units in developing detailed gap analysis across the sales operations and customer support processes
  • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
  • Implements, supports, and maintains planning and fulfilment processes and guidelines across local sales operations units.
  • Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
  • Supports the local Hub’s sales operations units in defining the new third party logistic contracts and/or modification/renewal of the existing ones.
  • Ensures all staff (under scope) understand ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and act accordingly.
  • Leads and standardizes the processes across the Inquiry- to- Order (ITO) process for the designated hub/market focusing on demand creation, quotations, customers/ products/commercial master data, sales policies and contracts management, strategic sales (SFDC) adoption and data quality.
  • Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
  • Executes the inquiry to delivery of E2E process global strategy for the designated scope (global/regional/local Sales organization), implementing processes, best practices, and solutions to realize the complete process from inquiry to delivery and after-sales support.
  • Ensures the accuracy of forecasting process to ABB supply units and external suppliers.
  • Establishes, supports, and maintains inventory management processes, guidelines, and best practices across the Region sales operations units.
  • Provides solution to reach expected service level at optimized inventory and costs, by utilizing the value chain and lean six-sigma assessment methods and tools.
  • Implements common processes and best practices for logistic operations to effectively control the inbound, storage, picking, value addition, and outbound of products.
  • Focuses on the achievement of forecasting accuracy, timely and complete quote, time to book lead time, inventory turns of finished goods, customer request on-time delivery, lead -time for stock and non-stock items, aging stock, wrong delivery/transportation damages, lead time for complaints resolution and closing lead-time,, and percentage% of digital versus manual orders.
Your background
  • Background in engineering.
  • Ability to team up with horizontal team, to coach and develop resources and to discuss with senior leader within and outside ABB.
  • +10 years of industry experience in complex organization with multicultural environment.
  • Experience in Operations department.
  • English and French are a must.
  • Customer focus and flexible approach.
  • Knowledge of the market.
  • Experience in Sales or Sales support department.
  • Broad and deep understanding of Customer engagement and Service business.
