We are currently seeking aProduction Planning Manager. This individual will work in close collaboration with the VP Operations and will be responsible for maximizing production by assuring an efficient planning process. This role will provide leadership, consultation, and expertise across key areas of production, including assuring strong working relationship with other operational and service departments.


Responsibilities

· Supervise the production planning and purchasing teams

· Plan, organize and evaluate the tasks and procedures of the planning department

· Ensure that production planning is performed in relation to priorities, delivery dates and availability of resources (equipment and labor)

· Monitor daily progress and take corrective actions as required to ensure priorities are met and to respond to urgent matters

· Oversee purchasing to ensure proper stock levels are maintained

· Advise and provide recommendations on production and planning process

· Document and communicate issues, including recommended corrective measures

· Perform necessary analysis to maximize production assets and resources over the short and medium term

· Participate in the development of continuous improvement initiatives

· Establish effective lines of communication and escalation between planning, production, and customer service, with the intent to maximize service to our external and internal customers.


Qualifications

· Minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience

· Good understanding of the production process

· Excellent knowledge of Excel

· Ability to problem solve

· Strong team spirit

· Meticulous and organized

· Ability to prioritize

· Bilingual (French and English)

Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un(e)Gérant(e), planification de la production.Le titulaire de ce poste en étroite collaboration avec le VP Opérations sera responsable de maximiser la production en s’assurant une planification efficiente. Le titulaire de ce poste assurera le leadership, la consultation et l'expertise dans divers domaines clés de la production, notamment les relations avec les autres département, opérationnels et service.


RESPONSABILITÉS:

  • Supervision de l’équipe de planification et des achats
  • Intervenir sur une base quotidienne auprès de la production afin d’effectuer les ajustements requis afin de rencontrer les priorités et répondre aux urgences.
  • Documenter et communiquer les problèmes, ainsi que les recommandations des mesures correctives.
  • Etablire le lien de communication entre la planification, la production et la service à la clientèle dans le but de maximiser la niveau de service pour nos clients externes et internes.
  • Apporter des conseils et faire des recommandations concernant l’établissement de la planification de la production.
  • Participer au développement d’action d’amélioration continue.
  • Planifier, organiser et évaluer les activités et les opérations du département
  • Effectuer des analyses nécessaires afin de maximiser l’utilisation des lignes de productions à court et moyen terme et ce, basé sur le plan de production.
  • Supervision des achats pour s’assurer du niveau adéquat des inventaires.
  • S’assurer de planifier les activités de production en fonction des priorités, des dates de livraison, des disponibilités du personnel et des équipements.


QUALIFICATIONS:
