We are currently looking for key volunteers to be a part of the team for the Montreal International Film Festival 2023.
This is a volunteering role.
You must be located in Montreal to be considered, even if this is a remote role.
Overview - Event Planning Volunteer
Role: Events and Entertainment Planning Manager
Volunteering - Not Paid
Schedule: Participate in a 1 hour meeting every week and an average of 1-12 hours per week for your department/tasks, according to your personal schedule. (Part-Time)
Commitment: Must be available to contribute from June 2023 to September 2023.

Role: Events and Entertainment Planning Manager
Responsibilities:
-Create the events and entertainment activities itinerary for the festival.
-Oversee coordinators and assign tasks to team members from your department
-Reach out to potential partners to organize activities; like screenings, speaking panels, the gala and more.
-Responsible to complete the planning list of activities for the Montreal International Film Festival
-Schedule & coordinate the events and entertainment commitments
-Write contracts and other necessary materials
-Manage & optimize the activities’s strategy and messaging for the cause
-Communicate events details with the team and collaborate to create campaigns
Key Requirements:
-Must be fully bilingual (ENG and FR)
-You have experience in event planning, management and experience within the entertainment industry is preferred.
-You are located in Montreal, even if this is a remote role.
-You are able to commit to the role
