Job Description
Our client, a secure fashion importer of ladies apparel is looking for an independent senior production coordinator to add to their team. In this role you will ensure the timeline for the production calendar is met. You'll also have the chance to communicate with the overseas suppliers, handle lab dips & more.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the executive members in order to ensure that budgets are being respected.
  • Oversee the fit, patternmaking, quality control and compliance processes.
  • Ensure the production cycle and budgets are met in a timely fashion.
  • Follow up on garment production from a-z including placing purchase orders, art work, fabric, trims, lab dips, fitting & specification, and all necessary details approval.
  • Coordinate all issues along the whole production process.
  • Ensure that all materials and trims are on time in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • Manage production schedules from sample approval until goods arrive in the warehouse.
Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable with garment testing and CDA/USA regulations
  • Experience with trafficking
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft, Illustrator)
  • 7-10 years of experience as a production manager/production coordinator in the fashion industry.
  • Understanding of production cycle
  • Highly experience managing a team and delegating daily duties.
