Enhanced Medical Nutrition (EMN) is a Toronto-based start-up that develops nutrition products to help patients prepare better and recover faster from surgery. Driven by novel research, EMN has launched an innovative, patient-centric nutrition program to improve clinical outcomes and plans to scale it to over 1,000 surgeons across North America in the next 2 years. EMN is a venture-backed consumer health and wellness company led by a team of experienced entrepreneurs, medical professionals, and brand builders.
The Role:
EMN is seeking a resourceful and motivated Customer Success Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Communications, you will assist patients in adopting EMN's products, ensure the success of physician practices in providing EMN's products to their patients, and actively promote communication and the use of EMN's products among patients. In collaboration with the EMN Team, you will help develop and execute customer success strategies and projects, collect and interpret customer feedback, identify market trends, and provide administrative support to the sales and operations teams. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.

You are a great communicator and enjoy working cross-functionally with partners, including patients, surgeons, and medical companies. You enjoy working with a team to help build a new brand in the life sciences market. You are interested in learning, interpreting, and implementing new and innovative patient communication methods. You are social media savvy and can create a presence in the digital world. You ask questions with curiosity instead of judgment. You are thrilled by new challenges, love being organized, and pride yourself in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Marketing Consultants to develop and execute communication strategies and materials.
- Administrative support. Includes updating communication materials, supporting business development activities (conferences, webinars, education symposiums), and assisting with education initiatives.
- Ensure the success of surgeon customers (physician practices) in recommending and having their patients utilize EMN’s products.
- Communicate nutrition concepts to surgeons, their healthcare teams, and patients.
- Manage communication and social media initiatives on platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Support customer service by answering nutrition-related questions and handling order inquiries by phone and email.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Communications to identify programs and initiatives that will build brand recognition, support aggressive sales growth , and lead a new standard of care.
- Drive adoption of EMN products through direct communication with patients
Your Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional communication skills, which include working collaboratively across departments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with high self-motivation and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up work environment
- Ability to pivot and change gears according to business needs.
Your Qualifications:
- Must have : an undergraduate degree in nutrition, kinesiology, or a science-related field.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Previous experience with social media is an asset but not required. May ask for work samples.
