Job Summary


This career opportunity will be used to staff multiple vacancies across the Service and may be used to staff other similar positions. As a result of this selection process, a pool of qualified candidates will be established.


There is no guarantee of promotion as a result of this selection process. Candidates who refuse an offer will remain in the pool.

Summary Of Functions


Administrative Officer / Human Resources Assistant L05


  • Plan and coordinate various administrative requirements as well as perform administrative activities in accordance with policies and administrative practices and procedures related to one or more administrative fields such as human resources, finance, procurement, budgeting, records/information management, technology/equipment support, operational support and/or other general administrative duties.


Education


  • Undergraduate degree
  • High school diploma and five (5) years of experience
  • College diploma (2-year program) and two (2) years of experience


The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.


If you completed a program outside of Canada you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense through a recognized credential assessment service.


Note: Any higher level of education could be recognized as experience.


Experience


  • Experience using a variety of software, including but not limited to: word processing, e-mail, database and spreadsheet applications
  • Experience providing client services
  • Experience providing administrative support, including: planning and coordinating multiple interrelated administrative activities
  • Experience liaising with managers and employees at all levels
Assets:


Human Resources Assistant L05


Education specialized in human resources, labour or industrial relations, psychology, public or business administration, organizational development, education sciences, social sciences or other field related to the position;


Experience in human resources.
