Identifying and implementing effective approaches for coordinating communications between climate researchers across the two UBC campuses

Developing content for website and social media, including stories about Collective workshops, seminars, and people (including the Solutions Scholars)

Coordinating with communications and public relations teams across participating faculties and departments

Implement and facilitate a robust RFQ/Pre-Approval Process for applicants to the Fund, including application rollout, education, intake, review and recommendation.

Exceptional planning & organizational skills, self-motivated, highly proactive & thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment

Strong consultative, consensus building skills, and an ability to foster effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. A systems-thinker and collaborator.

7+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge of current social, economic, political, demographic factors, issues or policies affecting the affordability crisis across the housing continuum

Interdisciplinary housing sector experience an asset (public/private/non-profit), policy or legal experience/exposure an asset

Has a minimum of 8 years of experience consulting & designing customer technology solutions.

Has strong sales and business development acumen and experience.

Has a minimum of 10 years of experience working the tech sector along with understanding of Cisco’s Technology Direction/Portfolio.

Brings a creative and innovative mindset with demonstrated experience working in start-up/innovation space

Has strong English communications skills (written and oral, including public speaking (French speaking is an asset).

Is an experienced authentic and inclusive people leader.

Strong project management skills, with a proven track record in overseeing projects and multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

Demonstrated proficiency with apps in Google Workspace and experience in content management systems.

Knowledge of social issues and experience working in the nonprofit, government, or social sector.

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management

Provide guidance, support, and technical assistance to partner organizations and stakeholders, promoting capacity building and knowledge sharing;

At least 7 years relevant work experience.

Effectively communicate and interact with all departments across the venue including BOH management team, as well as BHC Head Office

3-5 years of experience in social impact, community services, fundraising, philanthropy, or ESG, with a demonstrated progression of responsibilities.

Ensure the fulfillment of CED commitments, review our 5-year workforce plan, and develop relationships with trade partners for community benefit.

Experience managing ESG budgets and KPI measures.

Build and implement an ESG strategy that drives positive social impact within the real estate industry.

Stay on top of emerging ESG trends and enhance our social impact efforts for long-term sustainability.

Experience in an agency, non profit, charity or partner management role is considered an asset
