Corporate General Manager
The Corporate General Manager will work closely with the corporate Restaurant Operations team and will play an important role in the overall success of all BHC venues. In this hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role you will take part in acting as venue manager in the event of a vacancy, stepping in to assist venues with projects, creating new ideas and resources for operational success, and opening new restaurants. You will play a key role in supporting the venue management team with financial controls, operations, people development, guest experience, and compliance within the venues.

What You’ll Do:

• Effectively communicate and interact with all departments across the venue including BOH management team, as well as BHC Head Office
• If it's happening the venue, you are a part of it! Planning, executing, elevating - you do it all
• Prepare for and attend weekly, monthly, quarterly, and six month planning meetings
• Manage all areas of the venue and makes final decisions on matters of importance
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/provincial /local laws, and ordinances
• You train and monitor the Service team team to ensure high efficiency and success
• In this dynamic role you could be assigned to step in as an operational manager in the event of a vacancy at any BHC venue - One month you could be at The Bison and the next you could be at High Rollers.
• While you’re very focused on ensuring outstanding guest service, responding to complaints, taking appropriate action, and generating return guests – you also recognize the importance of employee experience and building a strong team culture

What You Have:

• Ability to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
• Proven success in a General Manager role is required
• You have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry
• You need to not only be an amazing team player but also have a knack for bringing others together to work towards a common goal
• Collaborative working style and team focus
• Understanding of the importance of communication and workplace culture
• Willing to take a step back to look at things from other perspectives and be open to a different way
• Flexible schedule required
