• 5 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years of management experience
• Driven to fostering a team building environment and creating positive guest experiences
• High volume, fast paced dining experience required
• Ensure all recipes are maintained to company standards
• Attend weekly banquet event order review meetings. Review current and future events to be proactive in conference event planning
• Maintain/audit presentation technique and quality standards
• Proactively take steps to drive outlet Food and Beverage targets and become a top culinary destination for culinarians within Alberta
• Adhere and Train all BOH employees to follow safety, sanitation, and security procedures for the Banff Gondola
• Recruiting and onboarding to build a high functioning and positive team with a continued focus on retention
• Work as one unit with the Front of House – one team, one food and beverage department
• Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and group services in executing of events
• Lead BOH Culinary operations including banquets, restaurants, off-site events & group event management functions
• Development and implementation of all seasonal menu launches, food presentation, recipes, and food costing of all items in conjunction with Executive Chef Banff Gondola

• Adhere to Financial forecasts and established budgets control food and labour costs
• Computer literacy with knowledge and experience with Micros, Delphi or similar Property Management Systems
• Daily inspections on cleanliness and organization
• Inspirationally lead and train kitchen personal
• Leading by example in maintaining the integrity of the rules, regulations, and operating procedures
• Create a culture of empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for positivity while providing exceptional hospitality

• Effective communicator and able to implement and uphold high service standards
• Red Seal Certification or Equivalent certification required
• Standard first-aid or higher is an asset

• Responsible for creating 2 seasonal menus per year based on the brand expression of Sky Bistro

This is a permanent role, available immediately, however, we are flexible on start date for the right candidate!
