Our client is one of the oldest, well-established suppliers of chemical ingredients to a wide range of industries. They are well known for their quality and service and commitment to clients’ needs. This role is for the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic and Food ingredients markets within Quebec.

Compensation

Competitive Salary, bonus and incentive plan, car allowance, excellent benefits (including $600 per year to use for anything health related like a gym membership etc.) and all equipment required (Computers and phone etc.).

The Opportunity

Steady growth has provided this new opportunity to add a new sales role to the Quebec Sales team. The primary focus will be on the pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredient markets with growth potential into the Food ingredient sales sector, as well as cleaning and detergent markets. This is an established territory with strong existing accounts.

Il s’agit d’un territoire établi avec de solides comptes existants.


Position Description

This is a true sales role, calling on clients and development teams to discuss their ingredient needs. The effort is equally divided between managing existing client needs and servicing their established business and also prospecting for new opportunities in the product development area of the industry.


Il s’agit d’un véritable rôle commercial, faisant appel aux clients et aux équipes de développement pour discuter de leurs besoins en ingrédients. L’effort est également réparti entre la gestion des besoins existants des clients et le service de leur entreprise établie, ainsi que la prospection de nouvelles opportunités dans le domaine du développement de produits de l’industrie.


Experience

In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:


  • Previous technical lab or product development experience would be an asset
  • Available for limited travel
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Fluent Bilingual Verbal and Written communication skills in French and English is required
  • Minimum two years of related sales experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Self-Motivated

Technical degree in chemistry ideal.
