Job Description

Building the world’s leading sound experience starts with the experience we provide our people. Sonos is looking to hire a key account manager to lead and accelerate our Canadian retail business. Retail plays a critical role for our customers along the path to purchase, making it a critical component of our overall go to market strategy for Sonos. The key account manager will own the local retail strategy, account relationships, and annual plans to accelerate our brand and business reach and drive revenue and household growth in-line with annual objectives.

What You’ll Do


  • Own the Canadian retail business plan, including quarterly and annual revenue and household forecasts in-line with annual growth objectives.
  • Manage a range of strategic external retail partners across all elements of the business to unlock opportunities, mitigate risks, and ultimately deliver Sonos favorable outcomes in key accounts.
  • Lead internal retail account teams including deep collaboration with business operations, fulfillment, finance, and retail marketing teams to build high quality account plans and execute with precision and impact.
  • You’ll be an active member of a wider AMPAC retail team, collaborating with a team of account managers to share synergies, best practices, sharpen one another’s thinking, and contribute to a high performing team and culture.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and weekly reporting of key account business performance, market trends, and share performance to inform short and long term adjustments to forecast.

Basic Qualifications


  • 8+ years of experience in customer facing retail roles and account management
  • Canadian based and able to travel within Canada

  • Highly analytical and able to pull clear and actionable insights out of complex data
  • Highly collaborative to develop productive working relationships with a wide range of functions
  • Agility, and the ability to adapt to an ever changing macro environment and business demands
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Bold and creative thinker to push, try, and learn from new ideas
  • Strong connection with our brand and products, and passion for music
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills to influence internally
  • Strategic mindset - including the ability to execute a vision
