About the role
Adecco is hiring a Bilingual Talent Onboarding Specialist to join our Strategic Central Delivery team. With a focus on creating an exceptional candidate experience throughout the Adecco recruitment and hiring process, you will facilitate the candidate journey through the required onboarding processes. You will maintain consistent communication with candidates, providing information and updates to ensure they feel supported. Are you organized and deadline driven? French/English Bilingualism, fluent in both verbal and written communication, is a requirement to be considered for this opportunity.
This position is remote and candidates can be located anywhere in Canada. Adecco believes in offering flexibility to work in the way that makes you most productive. As part of the Onboarding team, you would be collaborating with all our Strategic Central Delivery partners to work with applicants who are processed by our Sourcing team and screened for employment offers by our Assessment team. You would then align the final steps of the hiring process with our successful candidates to ensure a smooth transition to the start of their employment. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining contact with the field customer relationship owner to ensure accurate and timely flow of information and coordinating with the field to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for the candidate and the customer
- Confirming the start date with the customer and the candidate, ensuring that it is achievable and updating all parties with any changes or concerns
- Ensuring a conditional employment offer has been extended and that the candidate is attached to the correct order; Confirming that the final order, payroll and start requirements are up to date
- Using the Associate Tracking System (ATS), reviewing all relevant background information and forms to ensure all required documentation is fully completed prior to the start date
- Maintaining and updating thorough, accurate and compliant documentation of all customer, candidate and associate interactions using the front office system
- Initiating and scheduling pre-employment onboarding, screening, background checks and reference checks, when applicable
- Maximizing Adecco's office technology to ensure optimum, cost-effective, timely and high-quality results
- Acting as the main point of contact and liaison for candidates until the assignment start date, effectively communicating information related to the onboarding process and providing ongoing support
About you
We want to set you up for success! To help us do that, here is what we are looking for from you:
- Working knowledge of labour, employment laws and general HR practices would be an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact and communicate effectively with candidates and with varying levels of staff and management
- Displays a willingness to cooperate and work as part of a team, assisting others when required and maintaining effective working relationships
- Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility
- A minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year related experience, ideally in a service-oriented environment
- Bilingualism (French/English) is required
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
- Superior organizational skills to meet deadlines consistently while effectively managing multiple tasks, and prioritizing any new tasks as required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Proven consistently high levels of customer service performance, with an ability to build and maintain strong candidate relationships
