The Role

Note: Must live in either Nova Scotia or Moncton, New Brunswick. Must have a vehicle. Travel expenses paid. Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm. This is 6 month contract.


The role-holder will be managing end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on attracting and conversing with potential candidates within the Pharmacy industry to sell opportunities for a long-term match. You will develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders such as hiring managers, business heads/leads and human resources partners ensuring excellent relationship is built and best practice in hiring approach is adopted. This is a key role that requires a strategic, engaging, influential and organized recruitment professional to deliver best in class RPO service to our partner.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking for experienced, confident, and highly credible individuals who are well-versed in recruitment processes, embracing exceptional sourcing and strategic talent-pooling skills, and always striving for effective candidate and proactive stakeholder relationships and engagement. You will also be taking accountability, providing expert advice, and managing client expectations at every stage.


Key Accountabilities

  • Inform attraction strategies, working with hiring managers to correctly identify approach based on market and hiring demands
  • Proactively source (identify) candidates utilizing a broad range of channels and techniques (e.g., search engines, job board databases, social networking sites) utilizing Channel Activation Matrices or other directions as appropriate. Employ innovative techniques to identify elusive talent in the market
  • Will require a high level of face to face interaction - meeting candidates in person and learning about the Pharmacy industry and building relationships while on location.
  • Create and maintain trusted partner relationships with hiring managers. This includes being responsible for the end-to-end delivery of recruitment services to them, advising them on the recruitment process and ensuring that timelines are correctly identified and met
  • Ensure the recruitment service is delivered, in line with contractual obligations and client service levels
  • Building and maintaining hiring manager/stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead vacancy consultation discussions with hiring managers and document recruitment plans which include role requirements, agreed timeframes, roles, and responsibilities of all involved, and the selection process.
  • Responsible for the management of candidate relationships and their satisfaction with the recruitment experience until start date
  • Producing timely and accurate activity and management information reporting
  • Develop and support the sourcing strategy for each role/business unit and agree the strategy with hiring manager


Skills & Experience

  • Must live in Moncton, New Brunswick or Nova Scotia and be able to travel within both provinces as needed to recruit top talent
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Seasoned relationship builder and ability to find a solution to a wide range of situations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a strong and confident communicator who will proactively engage with stakeholders including candidates and hiring managers
  • A consultative approach - adept at Experienced and Niche hires using different sourcing style and strategy
  • Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g., web sourcing, networking, advertising, and database searching)
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle - will be paid for travel expenses including gas, mileage
  • 3 plus years of prior recruitment experience including head hunting and proactive sourcing and engaging passive talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence hiring decisions and stakeholders, and ability to drive innovation and keep up to date with market trends.
  • Demonstrable experience in talent pooling and utilizing direct sourcing channels
