Our growing agency client is looking for a Bilingual Event Account Coordinator with Events and Conferences experience to join their team full time. This role is a hybrid in Toronto and requires you to be onsite 2-3 times /week.

As the Bilingual Event Account Coordinator in this role you will be:
- Providing admin support as required to assist Account Managers to prepare and plan for conferences and events
- Providing day-to-day account support to a variety of clients and senior team members.
- Assisting with the scheduling, note-taking, and note distribution for client planning meetings.
- Processing invoice payments.
- Researching vendors, venues, cities and products.
- Assisting with packing and shipping of materials and ordering supplies.
- Liaising with conference management and client where necessary.
- Providing onsite support for events to assist with room set up, registration desk and other onsite responsibilities.
- Assisting with execution of activity, dining, speaker and gifting recommendations.
- Acting as point of contact point for participants.
- 3+ year of full cycle experience planning multi-day conferences, meetings and / or large events (live, virtual or hybrid).
- Demonstrated problem solving, negotiation & decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel as required, a valid drivers license and passport is recommended, and the ability to work variable hours (including weekends and evenings) driven by the needs of the business.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills to pivot quickly and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- 1+ year experience working directly with event platforms including: Swoogo, Pheedloop, Hopin, etc.
- 3+ years of speaking/writing French in a professional setting.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint , Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with Cvent, EventWizard, SurveyMonkey, Fluid, etc.
