Associate, Strategy & Operating Office

Akkodis is partnered with a global leading Investment Management firm to recruit an Associate in the Strategy & Operating Office to help support the Technology and Data (T&D) department on an initial 12-month contract.

Reporting directly to the Director, Strategy & Operating office, you will be responsible for providing support to T&D leadership on the governance and oversight of change initiatives, and assist product teams in the adoption of new T&D operating Models.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Develop metrics and reports to gauge the teams’ progress in delivering outcomes (measure in OKRs) and provide insights and analysis to management to facilitate decision making
• Manage change portfolio financials and perform financial analysis/ reporting ad-hoc and on monthly basis
• Support and assist users by providing training and responding to inquiries related to the resource and portfolio management system and Strategy & Operating Office processes
• Create presentation and meeting material cater to various audiences including senior management in the organization
• Administer, maintain, and support systems that track and manage the portfolio of initiatives and resources (Planview)
• Develop and keep training material, knowledge base and FAQs up to date
• Design tools, methodology and processes to assist product teams to manage their change initiatives and adopt Agile practices
• Collaborate and support teams to adopt the New Ways of Working and a cultural change to product mindset and business value
• Develop standards and practices that reinforce good governance for change initiatives

If you possess any of the following, we would like to hear from you:

• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to create presentations or proposals directed at a senior management audience
• Around 5+ years of industry experience within a similar role, preferably with a degree in Business or Finance
• Results and action oriented
• Sound professional judgement with the ability to interpret policy and standards to guide others in the application of those policies and standards in a pragmatic manner
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Excel and PowerPoint)
• Highly organized, capable of multi-tasking, and working independently
