Job Description

Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst - Middle Office to their team for an initial 9 months of contract with possibility to extend further. This role is currently hybrid in Toronto.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, enhancing, and streamlining Middle Office processes while serving as a subject matter expert in this domain. If you possess a deep understanding of financial products, trade lifecycle, and operational processes within the Middle Office, along with exceptional analytical and communication skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Create comprehensive requirement documents and support system upgrades.
  • Analyze trade lifecycle events and recommend automation opportunities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise during user training and support phases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify Middle Office process enhancements.


Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to dissect complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard Middle Office systems and tools, with experience in system implementation or enhancement projects.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services sector, with a strong focus on Middle Office operations.
  • In-depth understanding of financial products, trade lifecycle, trade support, and reconciliation processes.
