We are presently recruiting for an Associate within the Technology & Data (T&D) Strategy and Operating Office. In this role, you will support the build-out of a three-year Budget for Technology & Operations (T&O) and enable groups within T&O to manage their opex cost objectives by providing advice and direction on financial matters.

The Opportunity:

• Coordinate the T&D cost allocation catalogue update
• Identify and develop processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness for the team
• Support business discussion and decision making by performing meaningful financial modelling exercises
• Conduct deep dive analysis around spend trends and variances, provide value-add intelligence around spend drivers and variances through commentary, drive efficiencies in the expense reporting and analysis process and present spend reporting results to business management and/or executive
• Support the annual budgeting process for select General and Administrative (G&A) expenses under Technology & Operations
• Provide monthly Opex and headcount reporting for select T&O groups to steer business performance and manage costs

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly in Excel
• Independent, resourceful, and able to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and T&O colleagues
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of accounting and budgeting concepts
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent, with a professional accounting designation
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Communicate in a clear, succinct, organized, and convincing manner verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a high performing culture, open to and comfortable with evolving changes and new challenges
