The Role:


As the Associate Director of Development, you'll drive the development programs to new heights. Play a pivotal role in advancing their mission and strategic vision by overseeing Annual Giving, Planned Giving, Alumni Programs, and more. Lead stewardship, build relationships, and fuel enthusiasm among the school’s community.



Key Duties:

  • Oversee donor communications through collaboration with Marketing & Communication.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Stay current with best practices through continuous professional development.
  • Lead donor stewardship efforts, including reports, opportunities, and thank you letters.
  • Mentor and supervise team, providing growth opportunities and performance management.
  • Assist Director of Development in Foundation Board and Development Committee activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership on advancement plan, focusing on giving programs and stewardship.
  • Manage relationships to boost involvement and satisfaction of volunteers and donors.



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct fundraising experience
  • Postsecondary education in a related field
  • 2+ years in a management role, supervising and coaching direct reports
