The project manager is responsible for all aspects of the project from contract award to close out, providing quality deliverables to spec, on time, and on budget. This position must demonstrate strong organizational skills, people and time management skills, and strong communication and client service skills.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Supervise the execution of the work, ensure that the crews work to job specifications, and follow drawings
• Participate in project updates and tracking documents.
• Working knowledge of customary construction contract language and provisions (subcontract agreements, supply agreements, etc).
• Proven ability to read architectural, landscaping drawings and specifications to determine and understand the scope of work
• Understand supply chain and ordering processes to be able to manage and complete projects effectively
• Understand project specs, and construction documents, and able to perform complete railing take-offs.
• Ensuring compliance with the safety regulations (Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and Code) and safety policies and procedures of Lindahl Aluminum Ltd., through knowledge, communication, and understanding.
• Reviewing inspection reports and facilitating the resolution of deficiencies
• Excellence expertise to review shop drawings and cut sheets
• Maintain files of work-related documents
• Perform a variety of administrative work such as scheduling, maintaining records, helping in cost control, preparing reports, correspondence, etc.
• Proactively identify any needs and deficiencies in the schedule and communicate these to the appropriate persons
• Familiar with all aspects of aluminum railings systems.
• Ability to manage a team of drafters, coordinators, and site operatives

Qualifications:

• Proficient in MS Office (Especially Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat PDF Document
• Railing knowledge is an asset
• Aptitude to assume responsibility and to communicate with others, have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with CAD
• Ability to calculate mathematical equations, read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and other basic construction documents, etc.
• Incredible attention to detail.
