The Implementation Science Team plays an active role in this health system transformation by leading the implementation and evaluation of many priority initiatives and innovations across the province, including mobile health units, virtual healthcare, health workforce planning, integration and supports for internationally trained health professionals, and countless others. The Implementation Science Team is an interdisciplinary and dynamic team comprised of leaders, scientists, coordinators, and research associates with a variety of backgrounds and experience levels that is highly collaborative and responsive to the ever-changing needs of the health system.
About The Position
The Administrative Assistant to the Director is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Directors by effectively coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Director’s offices. In collaboration with the other Administrative Assistants, the position coordinates all administrative activities, establishes administrative procedures and guidelines and acts as a liaison with the administrative assistants within the portfolio and across the health authority. The Administrative Assistant works to enable consistency and standardization of administrative practices and procedures across the portfolio. This position provides additional support to individuals, committees or working groups as assigned, as well works closely with the Research, Innovation & Discovery team.
Qualifications
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
  • Undergraduate degree is an asset
  • Experience utilizing technology in meeting planning to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of information
  • International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) certification is an asset
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience, providing administrative support and office coordination at the executive level, preferably within healthcare and within an integrated service model provided throughout several locations with multiple partners and stakeholders required
  • Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technology and with information and meeting technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Post-Secondary diploma in a recognized office administration, business administration or secretarial program required
Hours of Work
Permanent, Full-Time (75 hours bi-weekly)
Starting July 3rd, 2023. Start date is subject to change .
Salary Information
$22.98 hourly - $28.72 hourly
$44,802 annually - $56,003 annually
