Job Description
Are you someone who is always updated on what's going on in the pop culture world?
Are you a true administrator by profession but also crave some project work in your day-to-day job?
Our client is an internationally recognized company that hosts major conferences and conventions and specializes in the pop culture space and is looking to hire a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join its team.
Advantages

  • Competitive pay rate up to $25/hourly
  • Attend internationally recognized conferences and conventions for free across North America
  • 6 months PART-TIME contract (3 times a week)
Responsibilities
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks and projects
  • Prepare meeting materials, proposals, and decks
  • Support the Operations team with event, convention, and conference planning and execution
  • Process expenses and invoices
  • Support the Executive Assistant in managing the VP's complex calendar and booking meetings
  • Helping to coordinate travel international travel for the VP and the team
Qualifications
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and has a positive attitude
  • Must have a valid passport and can travel internationally
  • Customer services experience, inclination or aptitude
  • Update to date with pop culture and able to utilize social media platforms
  • Experience in the fast-paced world of hospitality, media, or tech (asset)
