We are presently accepting resumes for 1 Permanent Part-Time Support Worker to work on in our group homes in Orillia.

Compensation Package

These positions will be assigned to our day line working up to 60 hours biweekly, primarily between the hours of 8am-8pm

• Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $26.16/hour;

Following The Successful Completion Of Probation

• Participation in RRSP with employer match up to 4%

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates who have a completed Degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in an unrelated field must have 2 years full-time work experience directly supporting people;
• D.S.W. diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (Child & Youth Worker, E.C.E., S.S.W., Nursing, Psychology, P.S.W., etc.) as determined by the employer is required;

• Ability to work weekends and holidays;
• A valid class "G" driver's license and own reliable transportation is an asset;
• Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours;

Role/Duties

Our Direct Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting. Responsibilities may include providing support during overnight shifts, personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances. You may also support people to appointments or events to foster connections within the community.
