Accounting Manager, Commissions - 100% Remote

Job Title - Accounting Manager – Commissions Team

Summary - Converge Technology Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the North America finance team. The role will have direct supervision of the commissions team and work closely with resources throughout finance, as well as sales and operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Commission calculations and reporting.
2. Assist in the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including completing reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, escalation & resolution of issues, and meeting all set deadlines.
3. Focus areas include, but are not limited to: product resale revenue & COGS, unbilled revenue accruals, commissions accruals, deferred revenue, revenue cut off
4. Financial statement analysis for our product resale business.
5. Assist in the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.
6. Assist in providing requested deliverables to the external auditors in conjunction with quarter review and year-end audit processes.
7. Support management through special projects and financial analyses as needed.
8. Sales & Operations support liaison.

Required experience, skills, and education:

1. Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. CPA preferred.
3. 5-10 years of experience.
4. Experience in a public company and IFRS is a plus.
5. Solid understanding of general accounting principles.
6. Aptitude to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and apply critical thinking skills.
7. Laser-like attention to detail.
8. Discretion in dealing with sensitive and highly confidential information.
9. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
10. Strong MS Excel skills.
11. Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, NetSuite, Power BI and Jet Reports is a plus.
