Account Manager(Localization&Dubbing)

Vubiquity’s Localization & Accessibility team creates dubs, subs, captions, audio description, and more, ensuring that media content resonates with audiences around the world in any language. The Localization Account Manager is charged with acquiring and consolidating information relevant to each project, coordinating with operational teams in a concise and structured way, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, in budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work the larger Localization & Accessibility team and other stakeholders to drive workflow efficiencies in the fast-moving world of media & entertainment content localization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide quotes and ensure that purchase orders are obtained in a timely fashion
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to schedules, budgets, quality, and relationships
• Track and communicate project statuses and schedules
• Provide technical and process oversight for the creation of localized elements
• Collaborate with growing, global team to develop and improve processes, and to maintain alignment of capacity and capabilities with client needs
• Interface with clients and internal departments across the organization to ensure project needs and deadlines are met
• Review content to document localization challenges and provide creative guidance to clients, dubbing studios, and other contributors
• Contribute to continuous process and product improvements for scheduling, tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and billing
• Contribute to and participate in professional development, and foster a mutually supportive team environment
• Participate scheduled and ad hoc meetings
• Manage project schedules and budgets for creation, conformance, QC, and delivery of scripts, subtitles, captions, dubs, and audio description

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years customer management
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt communication style to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of industry terminology and ability restructure client requests into actionable tasks for internal teams and external partners
• Eagerness to learn new skills and share knowledge with internal and external teams
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
• Thorough knowledge of film, video and file elements, workflows and technologies
• Detailed understanding of content localization and accessibility, including scripting, subtitling, captioning, dubbing, voiceover, and audio description
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
• Effective problem solver able to assess and adapt to changing priorities and strategies
• 5+ years related experience
• Ability to work without supervision and handle heavy workload
• Competence in Excel or similar tools; competence in tools to model processes and workflows visually is a plus
