Senior Localization Manager Jobs

3-5 years experience in Business Development of selling QA, LQA, Localization services deals

Business Development experience within the games industry is essential for this role

Proven track record of exceeding targets through building strong client relationships and/or significant experience of selling services within the games industry

Significant experience with successful dealmaking in the games industry to meet revenue targets

Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

An organized individual with a passion for gaming and experience of CRM tools

Eagerness to learn new skills and share knowledge with internal and external teams

Manage project schedules and budgets for creation, conformance, QC, and delivery of scripts, subtitles, captions, dubs, and audio description

Collaborate with growing, global team to develop and improve processes, and to maintain alignment of capacity and capabilities with client needs

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus

Thorough knowledge of film, video and file elements, workflows and technologies

Knowledge of industry terminology and ability restructure client requests into actionable tasks for internal teams and external partners

Relevant experience in Management or similar role in the Video Games or related industry.

Experience in an Account Management or sales-oriented role.

Skillful in conflict management and giving constructive feedback.

Hold regular status meetings, focused on active departmental improvements, with the LQA Project Management team.

Responsible for top-tier client account management affecting local operations.

Report client and macro project statuses and information to LQA Director and Management team on a regular basis.

Experience with content management systems and authoring tools

Manage stakeholder relationships and serve as the primary day-to day project contact

Identify & manage changes; ensure that project deliverables comply with contractual obligations

Identify and manage project risks; escalate as appropriate

Experience with localization processes, auto-translation, & machine translation systems

Experience with creating, localizing, publishing, & maintaining multilingual content

Define and execute on end-to-end localization projects from planning & budgeting to delivery, QA and post-purchase customer experiences.

8+ years experience working in the localization industry

5+ years experience effectively managing competing, cross-functional priorities while minimizing disruption to the team and maintaining cost effectiveness

3+ years experience selecting, managing and partnering with localization vendors including regular business reviews and re-evaluating pricing models

2+ years experience analyzing key organizational data that measure results to drive decisions and overall globalization strategy .
