Our client, a market leading financial institution, has an immediate need for an Senior Project Manager. This is a contract position for nine (9) months based out of Calgary or Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates project-level meetings
• Manage and monitor all project tasks and allocate specific work to project team members
• Creation of the project charter/plan to define scope, schedule, budget and resource requirements
• Be responsible for the end to end management of a project through the planning to close-out phases
• Manages the project’s dependencies, decisions, risks and issues, and develops mitigation plans when necessary
• Oversee and manage the cross-functional project team
• Monitors the success of the project through time, budget and scope metrics
• Reports on the project status to sponsor and key stakeholders
• Successfully deliver the defined goals and objectives within the project’s start and end
• Oversees the budget and all costs associated to the project, including hardware, software, labour (contract, FTE, professional services), etc.

Qualifications

• Experienced with end user device management
• Has previously led EUC type projects (deployments/rollouts)
• PMP certification
• Drive EUC policy development/updates and transition to Steady State
• 5+ years experience in leading infrastructure projects
• Experience managing diverse stakeholder groups, able to report to executives
• Understands Organizational Change impact of EUC type projects
